Just watched Brokeback Mountain today...

Did your wife asked you why going to the hunting/fishing/camping trips every year with guys only? :rolleyes: :D
 
Don't want to see it, won't see it, won't rent it, no way.

If my wife wants to see a real western I will rent "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" or "Fist Full of Dollars".

Amen, WTF is with a ### cowboy movie anyways? Who is going to take that seriously? A love story about 2 interior decorators....that is believable. I know there must be some long nights on the range..but no way that is going to happen....uh uh! I could even envision a couple of Albanian sheep wranglers casting loving eyes at each other...but not the sheer insanity of the Brokeback Mountain premise.
 
F**k this ### $h!t why is it evey time i see a movie i have to see some flameing ### guy in it way cant i just see a strait movie for a change.

This movie is just another sad reminder of the dismal state our society is in.
There have always been '###' people..........but why is it that society feels we need to have it crammed down our throats at every turn?

I have always tried to have the 'live and let live' attitude. What they want to do behind closed doors is there choice, but we get bombarded with it at every turn now. If homosexuality is so OK then why is it so pointedly being thrust at us in every form of media?

We are the Borg, you will be assimilated!

I can only assume that it is a plan to have our children grow up with ### 'rights' such a part of their everyday lives that they will be more tolerant than past generations. More Big Brother.

No one's forcing you to see Brokeback Mountain.

Besides, if it was two women, I bet you'd pay extra to get in! :D
 
It is an OK love movie with very good production, photography...(not much acting) and the major selling point is...it is a ### cowboy love movie directed by Ang Lee.

I still like the idea, go horseback camping on the mountain with a dog, a 30-30, a guy who cook for ya and lot of sheeps(not goats:D ) if you running out of food, shoot an elk with your 30-30...(Hey I tried to keep it hunting related:D )

BTW, if you guy have the chance to watch it. Notice the little sign on the door of the sheep boss: Trepasser will be shot, survivor will be shot again.:D
 
Guy at work lives in Carseland, the bar scenes were filmed in the blue saloon there. Even before the first scene was shot, Oscar talk was rampant. Even if the movie was sh1t it promotes an agenda that appeals to many in the arts biz.
 
Typical nonsense ..... Hollyweird is so full of queers Im surprised it took so long to desecrate "the great West" with a movie like that....

I will never see it. Any hint of two queers doing stuff to each other is enough warning for me to stay home with my wife (like a normal guy should). Those two actors should be ashamed of themselves.
 
My wife doesn't like watching war movies with me, but that doesn't mean she hates soldiers or is scared she might be one.

So I don't hafta watch that movie, either. :D :D
