Brownell's has mossberg. 500 magpul stocks in stock

I installed it on my 590A1. I have the same set on my 870, really enjoy this stock set. I use it in 3 gun and it is really comfortable to shoot. The only difference between the Mossberg and the 870 buttstock is the LOP. It is considerably shorter on the Mossy but can be easily extended using the supplied inserts. On the 870 I don't have any extensions but on the Mossy I installed 2 just to get the same LOP.

I find a noticeable difference in trigger reach between 590's and 870's due to the design of the action release mechanism on the 590.
It's pretty easy to see the difference comparing the two pictures posted above.
How the different stocks feel on the Mossbergs will be a personal thing and the only way to know is to try one in person.....

I haven't tried either of the magpull stocks but for some reason it looks more ergonomic on the 870 to my eye.

Those are the two stocks (Hogue/Magpul) I'm looking at.....how do they compare to each other? Thanks.

I've never tried the 590 with the hogue so I can't say for sure. I hated the stock the 590 came with though so the SGA is a big improvement. I haven't had a chance to shoot the 590 with the new stock yet but I like the SGA on the 870 for 3 gun more the the Hogue. I get a much better cheek weld and the stock LOP is adjustable out of the box.

Can-down is right, the 590 trigger is more forward than the 870 so that is definitely a factor.

112+ 30 total usd shipped to Ontario for the complete sga mossberg set. The tax man neglected to take his cut :) I love this option vs the OEM stock. The sga forend makes it really easy to mount a flashlight as well.

I got nailed for about $25 in taxes. Reddog, I don't want to know what you did to the Canada Post man to get out of the taxes. :)
