Brownells, Smith enterprise muzzle break for M14 without dovetail site sigh.....

Another axe cut into the supply of goodies.
March/april is the time of year that changes made to the rules generally come into effect with them yanks.

We need to GET LOUD and start bugging our canadian manufacturers to start making stuff here so we can stop supporting US businesses.
I've got some ideas with drawings but don't have the ability to pursue right now due to time and equipment restraints. :(

Brake

Why not just purchase a Springfield Brake from the Springfield Armory Website? I did this last year with no problems... they included the wrench as well and a nice box with a huge American flag on it.

Just tried Brownells

Brownells will not ship this. If they won't I doubt Springfield will.

Changes have been made only recently with what the state dept is allowing to export to non liscenced end users.
Big outfits like brownells react and do a blanket stop to exports of certain items until they clarify is shipping/exporting item "X" to a non liscenced end user is permitted.
You may suddenly find a whole lot of items you could order 2 to 6 months ago, suddenly not permitted.
This is not the gospel as I won't pretend to be on top of the changes, but from what I've heard, if yer someone who orders a lot of stuff from the states for military or tactical type firearms, you might want to look into getting your own import/export liscence.
