Browning 28 ga bps choke question

First there is nothing wrong with factory choke in pattern. I just would like a couple after market extended chokes to protect barrel and ease to tighten and check. I am a fan of Carlson chokes but I don't see a standard inv choke but I do see a inv plus but what browning 28 takes inv plus ? I am wondering if this is mess up on Carlson choke labels?
 
You are going to have to order them in from Briley US. That is what I did for 28ga browning BPS . Extended run like 50 US each plus shipping etc

Don't know why you are still hung up on these invector plus listings. Yes browning makes 28gauges that use these like some of the Cynergy Featherweights and others but your BPS is not one of them. BPS is old invector style

I just looked up cyengery on Brownings site and they say standard invector. I don't care if the won't fit my gun I just want to see what gun browning makes that they do fit.

And I don't care what the site says today since they have been making 28ga Cynergy's since probally 2007 and over the years they called some of them invector plus and even stamped some guns as such
Some said back then the invector plus on a 28ga was not the same back bored barrels as what we are familiar with in a 12 or 20 and it only means a longer than standard tube with an improved pattern performance in the 28ga.Marketing BS nothing more
Some also say on the 28ga only guns that were stamped invector plus will also take standard invector but I have no idea on that one nor do I know what they stamp new 28ga with
Just know my brownings in 28ga take standard invector and love Briley

I actually owned a Cynergy Feather in 28 gauge, and it used the standard invector choke tubes, just like all of my other Browning 28 gauge shotguns. I would suspect a misprint in the advertising. In fact my 2014 Browning catalog does not even list 28gauge invector plus choke tubes, it just lists the invector choke tunes.

I know as are all of my Browning 28gauges, five I think. But they did market some over the years and even stamped some guns I understand. That is why you still see most of the choke tube manufacturers refer to them .Remember this started in 2007 or so

I suspect a labeling thing rather than a different product. I have ordered 28 gauge choke tubes from Briley multiple times, and all they cared about is that they were for a 28 gauge Browning. I was never asked if I wanted invector or invector plus.

Me too but I always told them 28ga standard invector
Something about a longer straight section and better patterns still sticks in my head which is why they were called invector plus in 28ga but not 100% on that

Thread height is really all we can get from that drawing but it may be an entirely different thread pitch or TPI
Be interesting to see what briley and browning say. I have asked both for giggles
My guess they will interchange but a totally different design
I have found few 28ga owners buy additional chokes from factory supplied ones other than the odd serious shooter most times

Well I guess I got somewhat of an answer from browning. Looks like some dancing around but I expected that. Maybe briley will clearly answer the question why some are referred to as invector plus

Thank you for the email. There might be a bit of information missing from the website however all Browning supplied 28 gauge choke tubes have standard invector thread and are fully interchangeable.
