So I inherited a Browning Auto5 and a Remington Sportsman 48, both probably close to circa 1950. Took them skeet shooting and duck hunting 30 years ago. Had a buddy take me out skeet shooting again, and turns out that I can still hit something. He says we should go for ducks. As you all know, I can't put steel through these guns. I'm thinking that I should try and sell them and get a newer one that can. Don't imagine that the Remington is worth much, but the Browning is a nice looking gun. I see the Browning going from anywhere from $400 to $800 if not more. How's a fella to know what is fair?
