Not sure you could do much with the trigger - The break is clean and there is very little uptake. I never even thought about mine until a guy mentioned it to me a few months back that they were heavy. Try one out, I think you'll be satisfied.
On another note, I've owned the older steel receiver model as well as the newer aluminum receiver. The steel is nice - a little smaller. But, the action is improved on the newer ones. Not as slick, but certainly more solid and I think this contributes to accuracy.
