I like the looks of the Ruger Mark III Target, with the bull barrel but nobody seems to have them in stock.

What are those Buckmark campers like?

I have a Browning Challenger and love it... I've handled Buckmarks and they're similar. A lot of people swear by the GSG... Go to the range and try a few out! There are places that will rent you the pistols.

Im looking into the buckmark camper, there seems to be a lot around at least, so should be able to get some extra mags.

I have a Buck Mark Plus UDX and I'm really happy with it. Mine shoots the cheap Federal buck ammo really well. I bought it at P&D last year....right now they show good inventory on the Buck Mark pistols. I have no experience with the Ruger rimfires but have heard good things about them as well. I'd say you're splitting hairs between the two because I can't see the Ruger being any better than my UDX.

I've got both the ruger and the buck mark and I prefer the buck mark.
It's heavier, it's easier to clean and maintain, it's more accurate (for me), it's cheaper and available.

Both are nice guns but the browning comes out to the range more.

Just be sure to get the one with the nice grips and fiber optics.
Those grips are fant-freakin-tastic!

(Ignore the red dot, it was a phase)

I believe this one is called the camper URX
The URX being those super comfy grips

Maybe you have a Ruger 22/45 with polymer frame if it's lighter than your Buck Mark. I'm pretty sure the all steel frame Mark 3 is heavier than alloy frame in all Buckmarks. I've shot a couple of Buckmarks and they're definitely lighter than my mk3.

That being said Buckmarks are so much easier to take apart and clean.

Ya got me sold, calling P&D tomorrow.

Yes the Sturm Ruger is harder to strip down but there is none better for shooting, reliability and accuracy than the Ruger. They seldom need a strip down for cleaning and muzzle and receiver are easy to clean.

I have the Buckmark Contour URX which has the super nice rubber grips like the photo above. Very reliable shoots most ammo just great. I get an occasional stovepipe with Fed Champion but everything else runs fine. Just loves CCI Blazers. Accurate and the factory trigger can be easily tuned to 2 lbs without custom parts. Not dissing the Ruger but never regretted buying the Browning.

sorry, after looking at the list i guess mine is the Buck Mark Practical URX, which is strange cause im positive the box said camper.

but get the URX ones, those grips are soooooooooooooo nice, and fiber optics, if the one your getting dosnt have them then pick up the after market fiber optics that browning sells.
worth their weight in gold!

the Lite is nice because its like a Lego gun, there is so much you can do to it.
