Browning service???

service.canada@browning.com
I had a duratouch stock replaced under warranty in 2022. They sent me a prepaid shipping label. I waited months for my tbolt to return. If they have a replacement stock ready to go the turn around could be faster but I had to wait for my stock to be stripped and repaired.

There's a whole bunch of browning warenty gunsmiths across Canada. I shipped my x bolt to the guy in Saskatchewan and had it back in 10 days.

Not sure where or how you were looking
First google browning warranty Canada two phone numbers came up specifically for dura touch stocks
Then listed browning warranty by province

That's what did, sent an email which was not delivered because the domain doe not exist

just call Browning. They are located in Montreal. After the 1st call they communicated by email. They sent me a prepaid label to change the stock to any stock they had, a few styles of wood or the newer synthetic one without duratouch. They don't repair the duratouch stock. Mine went to a gunsmith in the Eastern Townships of Qc. Turnaround was very quick.

You'd think they'd have these stocks figured out after 15 years.

they did. That's why all the duratouch stocks are guaranteed in perpetuity. If it's sticky, they'll replace it.

I did call Montreal, the email they gave does not work, called 3 times same crap

So I took my Browning X-Bolt carbon fibre out of the safe over Christmas to shoot it a bit. As soon as I picked it up it was obvious that the stock was sticky.
I emailed Browning service and they got back to me on Monday saying they were closed for the holidays so apologized for the delay.
They have told me that I have to send them the rifle in for warranty. They have no new stocks available so they will have to refinish my existing one. Also stated that they are at least three months behind in warranty work so expect the rifle to be gone for 6 months from date I ship it.
I am responsible for shipping cost to get the rifle to them. They will pay the cost to ship it back. Told them I can’t see me using the rifle the way it is so really have no choice but to print their warranty form and send it in. Hopefully it will be back in 6 months so I can sell it and replace it with a Sako.

Had my BPS that went sticky redone by Browning, didn't take long at all, I think it was gone for maybe 2-3 months. Did an awesome job but it wasn't Browning that did it, they sub it out to a little gunshop in Quebec somewhere, guy does a bang up job. They didn't have the original camo pattern but the new one is alright with me.

They did my foremans BAR at the same time.

In my experience, it's pretty easy to make a mistake when transcribing an email address, whether when hearing it, writing it, or typing it. It happens to me weekly. In fact, I have seen it happen with the spelling of a particular (Browning Canada) gunsmith's name, which formed part of the provided email address, an error which - at the time - went unnoticed. Eventually, after the customer had received no response from the gunsmith, it was determined that the name (in the provided email address) had been spelled incorrectly.

I suggest that you call them again, and confirm the email address.

Emailed Browning customer service yesterday about the X-bolt I sent them for the sticky stock issue. Customer service sent me the number to the armoury where the rifle is being fixed. Tried phoning them to get an update. Phone number works just fine but their voice prompts are all in French. Emailed customer service back and told them I have no desire to learn how to speak French. Not very happy with the whole process now. But at least I have the service number for my claim, which they never supplied me before. Better then just having the Canada Post tracking with a signature to say they have it.

Just a quick update. Customer service now says the number they provided is a cell number and I can text him in English and he will get back to me. I did so and the reply text informs me that the rifle is done and supplies me a tracking number. Will post again and let you know what I think once I get it back in around ten days.

When i emailed in the fall they were quick to get back to me. Given the options of sending it in and waiting for who knows how long i chose the second option of them sending me a new stock and i'll swap it out myself. They mentioned at the time that the short action stocks are extremely backordered but the long actions can be sent out whenever they are received from the states.

That was in November and no sign of either stocks yet.

I had no issues at all contacting Browning for either of the firearms we had problems with.
I sent my X-Bolt Stainless Stalker in to them in Jan of last year. They wanted to "bed it" themselves to continue the warranty on the rifle. Got the rifle back in late May IIRC...looked new again. Very very pleased with their service !

Told a buddy of mine about this warranty fix, so on his behalf, I sent his Carbon Fiber Maxus 12 ga in for the dura-touch issue. He also had a problem with feeding from the magazine tube...small spring broke and something else in there was gone(shell interrupter?) I mentioned that on the repair form.
Initial conversation said they were in fact 3 months or more behind, but I would be given updates on the movement of the Maxus.
The carbon fiber "look" stocks had been discontinued by Browning, so they would be sending it out to their stock dipping specialist.
The old dip would have to be stripped and removed and redone again..like the factory one was.
Took them till the middle of Octember before I got notification of the shot gun coming back to me. Upon inspection, the feeding spring issues were fixed, they replaced a couple parts under warranty. It looked amazing once again !! The shop did onehelluvajob on the carbon fiber hydro dip...my buddy was over the moon ecstatic....no complaints here at all.
