Your thoughts as to what you would consider the better of the two guns re- fit, finish, balance and overall workmanship of a 12g O/U ?

Berettas have always handled better for me. Browning's underlug locking system makes for a tall and narrow receiver compared to the lower and wider profile Beretta action. I've always felt Berettas a little more lively and responsive.
I currently own a Browning Citori Gran Lightning in mint condition with gorgeous wood.
After handling some Beretta guns, they seem to be lighter (whether they are or i'm not sure) and are more lively than my Browning, maybe it's in my head but thay definately feel quicker, maybe it's the balance![]()
I was thinking of maybe selling my Browning and getting a Beretta
Nothing wrong with my gun,it's a beautiful gun-----BUT![]()

Can't fault Italian craftmanship. The low style action and balance make for a very lively gun in the hands. Just perfect for a low gun start on Sporting or for that matter all shotgun work. The Brownings I've shot feel clunkier to me and are not(in my opinion) as well made or fitted. Before buying try as many models as possible. When you pick up a gun you will know instantly if it's for you or not. When I bought mine I had a 325 and my 686 on the counter. Fell in love with the Beretta right there.![]()

On second thought it's probably better that I don't.![]()
