Love my Browning BLR in 7mm 08 . Killed 10 deer with it , dropped where I shot them . Using 140 gr Remington Core Lock bullets .

So, sounds like the OP used the wrong bullet for what he was hunting.... Definitely NOT a SASKATCHEWAN thing. I'd love to have a 7-08 in the stable, it will knock down anything I hunt just as effectively as any 30-06.... As long as I used the right load.

Not a Saskatchewan thing; not a 7mm-08 thing; not a rifle thing; so what's left, IF the story is told accurately?

The absurdity of making the accusation that, somehow, the CARTRIDGE is responsible for the failure to perform is so ridiculous it makes the OP seem pretty inexperienced, irrational, or just a troll. His responses since to others who have suggested the same things I am now do nothing to improve his credibility. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the 7-08 for deer hunting (and lots more). If I was Bigbore 35 I would be embarrassed and hope this thread will disappear as soon as possible.

I wonder what he thinks about shooting into space?
