mine does not say made in israel, just desert eagle pistol, made in usa. no IMI, nothing. it also has a picitini rail on mine.

Sounds like yours is one of the new Kahr arms productions.
My 50 barrel is new production. The older models only have two rails on top of the barrel.

im thinking about getting a DE .44 mag once i get the chance with chrome finish but.. i dont like the look of the mark XIX barrel with the rail!

should i just buy a XIX model and pray to find a mark VII barrel???

some Mk 19s dont have a rail on top. My Israeli one did not. USA one does. Id advise against the 44, it tends to not feed well in the DE. 50 has never had a FTF.
