These are of a fellow forum member on the mg42 board. I know what some of you will think... "omg mega bubba", but where gun parts are plentiful (USA), you can appreciate these kinds of specialty projects.
I'm talking about the MG47's, as they have been nicknamed by the gun community down south (mg42 + ak47). Quite a fascinating build anyways, i like it. Only wish i had the parts to do it

He's also done a magnificent job at restoring the m53, mg42, and bren from cut up piles of scrap! Anyone who has attempted to TIG weld 1/4" wide gaps crudely cut into 1/8" sheet metal can surely appreciate this work!
