Bucket lists

So I'm willing to learn, where's your turkey pics with correct poses? I'll guarantee you must have some.
The 22 hornet is not appropriate for turkey? How the hell else do you hit them at 200 mtrs?
Glad you enjoyed the pics. Seriously where's your turkey pics?

You're right Superbrad, that does look better with wings and tail fanned, as opposed to the firm grip around the neck, that I selected. Not much of a head to look at really, on a turkey.
He looked real good as a mount, in full strut, until my son decided he needed a couple turkey tail feathers for something.................

Done Cape Buffalo and plains game in Zim...No desire to hunt Africa again...Have Mountain Grizzly as well from Alaska..

Bucket list would include Dall sheep and a Peninsula Brown Bear as well as a BandC Whitetail..

...No desire to hunt Africa again....

:eek::eek: Seriously?!?

Africa was something that I thought that I'd do once and be happy...but once you see it and grasp the vast scope of amazing hunting there is to be had over there...I don't think I could ever tire of it. Even without ever repeating a hunt location or hunt target, it's just too tempting...

c-fbmi, what are those critters? Scimitar-horned Oryx, I think, and...what...Addax of some kind? Very cool trophies, especially the Oryx. Are these the ones that were destined for wholesale slaughter because of some nonsense reclassification that included the herds in Texas? Hopefully this hunt is an indication that cooler heads have prevailed in that fiasco.

Oh, man.

Tahr, Chamios, and Stag (all free range) in New Zealand with some sea run trout on the fly.
Black Wildebeast, Buffalo, Blesbok, Impala, Steinbok, Zebra, Eland and Oryx in Africa.
The Great Bears of Kamchatka.
Blue Sheep, Urial, and Ibex in Mongolia.
The Thin Horns of North America, and a grand Goat and Grizzly.
200" Mule deer.
65" Moose.
400" Mountain Caribou.
Not much really

These are the Scimitar horned Oryx and North African Addax, and yes they have now been classified as a CITIES I animals and have become much more difficult to deal in and move around in the US, however Canada has different regs and I'm looking into them now, regardless these were harvested prior to their reclassification. This was the sole purpose of darting off on short notice to collect these two before their reclassification. The Arabian Oryx has been classed as CITIES I endangered for some time now and I need to do some more research for him, however I do own one at this time, he's still running around Texas till I get some more info on him.

This is a good thread that should be bumped
