Buddy wants a ruger auto ,why?

Thanks stevr, I've never handled either cz or p89 and and only problem I with other Ruger firearms was the appearence of some of the surfaces after casting. The extractor rod on my security six did like to back out and lock cylinder after a dozen rounds of full bore 125grain loads. I guess my questions about their semi autos will have to wait for some future purchase. Can't right now as I have a nice Smith model 10 on the way. I know what you mean about a reliable gun. I have a Smith model 915 that is the ONLY handgun I have that has never/ever had a failure of any kind(no idea how many rounds thru it but it's lots). I've been shooting for several months without cleaning it to try and see if I can get the thing to malfunctional but about to give up on that as being very dirty(shooting cast exclusively) has'nt made any difference at all in it's reliability. Anyway, thanks for the reply. Continued good luck with your cz. Never shot one one but I generally have a pretty high opinion of Czech made guns.

Hi Guys,

Reviewing an old thread. Could some one post the grip circumference of P944 under the trigger guard and at the heel? Is the grip circumference bigger than a Glock 22/17?

Unfortunately, I can't get to feel one in hand unless I place an order.
