Build your own exotic game preserve?...

Put Sunray on the agenda and I'm in.

Truth be told, I do vaguely recall a similar post a few years(?) back, but didn't put two and two together, as this fella only has a hundred or so posts. Typically the "entertaining" Nutterz have post counters that look like a gas pump whirling away.

What ever happened to that guy anyway???

Im in....if the invite extends my way of course!

Absolutely!! Next time I get back to Ontario we should get all those who want in together. I'll stop on my way through MB and take some pictures of the Shangri-La Umchorn2 Hybrid Wildlife-Livestock Game Preserve to share with the group. Who knows, maybe we can draw up a set of plans covering everything from fencing to predator control and non-intrusive all naturally blended campsites to help our young zoologist with his dreams?!
And maybe a pond thrown in for fish farming? With the right non-government intrusion management program and resources I am sure we could help him raise a sustainable Atlantic Cod farm?! Anybody have a good source for salt?

Based on what I'm hearing, you should be able to find more than enough in umchorn's wounds :p

Sunray occasionally posts on Milsurps.com, but he no longer posts reloading advice and rarely uses his trademark snicker comment. His posts are infrequent though. Possibly he has been consumed with posting on a quantum physics forum or has become one of the Liberal inner circle advising on balancing the budget.

Ever see what elk do to a fence? I saw enough of that as a landowner in Bancroft to be "risk adverse" with the "investment portfolio" of trying to keep them "inside" anything long enough to poke a hole in one of them.

Besides, I know some kick azz "wild" elk places in Carlo/Mayo already.

Just...wow. Putting a fence around wildlife doesn't make it yours to do what you want with, flaunting Provincial game laws. The North American conservation model is completely different from European and African process and there would have to be . Sure, you can go to Texas an hunt exotics on 777 Ranch's 15,000 acres, but I would rather be hit in the nuts than hunt on a patch of ground 5 miles by 5 miles. Laurentian Wildlife Estate in Quebec and their1500 acres of red stag and whitetail is similar bull####. This country is almost 4 million square miles and most of it crown land, so you can take your 2 mile by 2 mile pasture and stuff it up your ass.

470 acres is a lot less than 2 miles by 2 miles!

Wonder how much a herd of alpaca costs? They taste great. It would be nice going out for a walk outback and picking one "Yup that One" putting the leash on walking him to the hanging shed and a Lil work later its petting zoo on the bbq!
