Build Your Safe-Queen into a Straight-Pull King

you can't deactivate yourself, but you CAN destroy it yourself, you have to report it "when it cease to be a firearm"..
True... you can "dispose" of it.

I feel like if you called the cfo office and said “I disposed of my ar15 so now I don’t have it anymore” they’re going to have some questions for you.
they might have questions, but it's YOUR possession and you CAN destroy it if you want,soo..they might not like it,but it's legal.
every deactivated one i have seen sell on here, sold for much more than when it was live.so why destroy it,

Ahhh ….. so say i convert my Noveske AR to this…… how do i tell Mirimichi i now have a non restricted……. And is my old reciever still prohibited/ blacklisted ? And just cut it up or something and mail it to them ?
Hi Wolf,

When you use parts to make a Renegade rifle there is zero obligation to tell Miramichi anything.
They originally (in 2020) tried to tell us we were not allowed to strip the AR rifles for parts; then they issued the "nullification" letters for our registration certificates. This nullification removed the legal obligation to re-register it as a stripped receiver.

Now all they hope for is that we all turn in at least the receiver for the promise of a few dollars. The vast majority that I know have no intention to do this. If at some point they actually come to our doors to collect these receivers, many that I know intend to deliberately damage or destroy it with a hammer or otherwise so that they cannot be re-purposed in any way whatsoever, because at that point we all know there will no longer be any question of compensation, and many fear them being stolen or somehow re-directed out of confiscation pipeline by criminals.

Is the Maverick compatible with the Magpul B.A.D lever? I want to have the bolt mounted on the left and as a consequence would like not getting my thumb slammed by it on the way home…

Unrelated, but

Is the Maverick compatible with the Magpul B.A.D lever? I want to have the bolt mounted on the left but not risk getting my finger slammed by the bolt. Also, is the rifle compatible with ambidextrous mag release upgrades?
