BUL M5 VS. USP Expert

The worst "snap" I ever experienced was with a alloy framed 9mm Taurus (Beretta knockoff).
 I've shot one (plus basically identical to a Beretta in size and weight) and though it was a pussycat (large gun, low bore axis) - not even close to the snap of a Glock 22.

Thanks for all the info guys. Looks like the USP Expert is going bye-bye for now.

Looks like the 1911 platform is the way to go.

I have not shot the BUL but I have handled one and I am VERY intrigued to see how they preform.

Make every effort to shoot one of each before you decide.

but $1269 for blued USP 9mm?? That must be taxes in!...? A stainless is only $1100 from other dealers. $1775 for an Xpert in .40 from one of the above bannered dealers; $2200 must be taxes in?

I have no problem with Wolverines price list for HK's. I was a little shocked a the other one listed 5 posts above. Like I said, must be taxes in......

gotcha... haven;t finished my coffee yet, i seriously thought that you thought those were good deals... hehehe

to be fair, i've seeen a lot of dealers in Vancouver that has similar prices to that range in question.... some people will pay that premium for being able to handle their first gun before buying... its a big investment...

I've heard of someone selling his USP Expert for 1400$ so actually, the USP Expert would be cheaper than the brand new BUL.

That may be another option, getting a basic BUL M5 and put some good sights, triggerjob and magwell (wich may be hard to find for the BUL's polymer frame). I wonder if it is worth it or not...

The V-port one is very appealing too, but I'l have to forget IPSC if I get this one.

A nearly new one was sold in Feb here on EE for $1200! (unfortunately I already had mine )

What I ment was by handling the gun it interested me enough to want to shoot it. If it shoots well for me I would "add it to the list" :D
