You're enjoying this little squabble aren't you?
Still wondering if any of the critics have actually attempted to make practice ammo that shoots to the same POI as their hunting load...........
Nope, I can't see wasting the time. My practice ammo is the same as my hunting ammo. As far as shooting at birds with my rifle while hunting, that is something that I'd never do so i don't have to waste the time making up those rounds either.
Not for my money. Do, or don't do what you want with yours.
Exactly and for my money I shoot the real thing everytime.![]()
You're enjoying this little squabble aren't you?![]()
Apparently so, depending on what you think the "real thing" is. 'Course when you are already shooting and hunting with the cheap bullets there is no money saving option, except for cast.
Cost has always been a poor predictor of quality. All the same I shoot a lot of TBBC, Swift and A-Frame, you should check out those prices for cheap shooters to save on your TSX.![]()
Can't say that I'm the biggest TSX fan that ever lived, but will take them over the 220 gr. .375 Hornadys you seem to hold in high regard. Just the same, it makes more sense to blow away welfare bullets for position and offhand practice than any of the premium priced bullets. Now if a shooter didn't practice, or considers sighting in practice then he would probably be better off staying with one load.Oh, and by the way, Swift makes the A-Frame which you would know if you made it past the Hornady section.
They go through paper about the same as the cheap bullets, no better, no worse.
Swift Sirroco and A-Frame, is that better for you? It really galls you that someone might disagree with you don't it? Get used to it.![]()
Nothing galls me about you. I find your little attempts at pot stirring, and stubborn refusal to answer direct questions by changing the subject amusing. Having had my laughs, I'm done with you. Now to add to that short list.
