We were all newbies at one time. Hell, there's lots of CGN veterans who still can't post a picture or properly quote a post. The CGN search function isn't that user-friendly. Instead of piling on noobs for asking the same question we've seen 1000X before, why not post a link to a similar thread or actually take two minutes and answer the question? Why behave like a smug asshat and crap all over someone who could become a valued member of the forum. As "black rifle" guys, we NEED all the recruits we can get. The more there are of us, the harder it will be to institute a future ban. We need to become mainstream and that means acting like adults and becoming mutually supportive of each other and welcoming of newbies. Really, who would blame the OP if he told us all FU and never returned? That's my sermon for the month.

Sorry but that is BS

The search function works fine, in fact it is mostly the same as google. If you can google something you can use the search. I Just searched "slide fire" and got over 3 pages of threads on it. It is not rocket surgery.

I just searched for 'slide fire' and I got exactly 4 results.......none of which had anything to do with slide fire stocks :(
 
Did the exact same search and this time I got 6 pages of results. None of which had anything to do with slide fire stocks.
 
The search function works so well, that despite me being able to manually find 5 threads in the black rifle section that have the word "knights" in the past week, the search says there is only one in the last year.

LOL It might be a good idea, because I can do the SAME EXACT SEARCH 3 different times and get totally different results each time. Also, the 'at least this many responses' thing works funny too. If I put 'at least 1' I only get results with 1 response. If I put at least 3, I get only threads with up to three.

But it works just like google :rolleyes: ;)
 
A simple answer like " it's already on RCMP black list" will answer the question

Is this a fact? People on here own them, Slife Fire was sending them up here for a while and they've been for sale in the EE. All it is is a stock, doesn't touch the trigger at all.

If you do the exact same search over again you are getting the exact same results its not a random number generator.

I have tried doing THE SAME search results three times in a row before and have gotten different results each time. It may not be a random number generator, but I'm not the only person on this board who has had issues with it.

Maybe you could tone down the attitude and be nice to people :)
