Burris service?

Burris warranty repair is in Denver..
I had no hassles shipping mine across the border and back last year...
Just write "for warranty repair" on the little green sticker the poste puts on your package and in large letters else where on the package..

Sent one of mine this spring to CO, do like NRUT said.

It came back thru Stoeger (CDN importer for Burris). No fees and they did a great job.

I just got my hands on a Burris Euro Diamond 3-10X40 with the German reticle LRS and I LOVE it. It was about $200 off, but for the same money I could have gotten a Leupold VX3 3-9X40 duplex reticle. The Burris is a 30mm tube and feels so much more solid and was much brighter than the Leupold and the illuminated dot is simply amazing and will be very useful. That's why I went Burris but with the recent thread about Leupold being the king, I started second guessing my decision. That's why I was wondering about people's experience with Burris. Thanks.

Will let you guys know what I think of Burris in a few days. Sent a 6X24X50 Black Diamond scope back for repairs a few years back. The eye bell would wobble when I went to adjust the magnification. It never really affected the function of the scope but in my opinion it should not wobble. It took a coupe months but it came and seem to be fine with the warranty depot stating that it works as it should. I put it on a rifle the other day and when i went to adjust the magnification, nothing happened when I turned the ring. Think it is stuck on 6 power. It was a new to me rifle so I thought I would try a few loads I had made up to see if they would group. Well the damn thing shot all over the paper. I'm talking an 18" spread. Put a Bushnell scope on that I had laying around and the groups shrunk to 2".
Emailed Burris to start another or continue the warranty claim. Also stated in my Email that I don't think I should be responsible to pay to ship it to them again because their product is a POS.

Burris Optics offers a Forever Warranty in Canada, covering defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, transferable to new owners, with Stoeger Canada handling all service, repairs, and warranty claims in the country. You contact Stoeger Canada via email (service@stoegercanada.ca) or phone (1-800-263-1945) to initiate a claim, but note some users report long delays for cross-border claims.

No Only has to pay one way. Thing is I paid shipping for it to be fixed already, they sent it back saying it worked but it doesn't. Not that much money but it still bugs me that the customer has to pay at all for warranty when it is the products fault. If if was from abuse I would have no problem with paying. Every time I have to send a product in the cost is $30- $75. Between gun stocks, game calls and scope I can't keep up.

Then Leupold was the correct choice.

I used their warranty service once. Fast and fantastic through Stoeger Canada. At the same time paid minimal up charge to have extras done to the scope. The problem wasn’t actually the scope in the first place. Highly recommended.

Found the exact same box that I used to send it to them in 2024. Even had their paper work still in it from the first time stating that it works as it should. Guess I should have put it on a different rifle to try it out then. The only reason I sent it to them was I had it off the rifle so it could be Ceracoated. Thought while it was off I might as well have the wobbly eye bell repaired. Never expected it to come back in worst shape then before I sent it in.
Glad to read there is so many guys happy with there product and service. Will make it easier to sell when it comes back and replace it with a Zeiss. I have never had to use their warranty service.

I agree with not having to pay for shipping again however, as you said it was a few years ago. They should a probably will treat this as a new issue considering you had a couple years to figure out that it was not fixed properly
