Bushmaster ACR Enhanced $2779

The quick change barrel is cool, and it works. THe problem is that bushmaster has ONLY made the 16" version and is selling out. THey haven't made ANY of the any barrels yet, and even spare parts are hard to source (up here anyway). Your only option right now is to have the barrel shipped to a custom maker (Ian at Herron Arms did mine) and have him strip the stock barrel and fit them to a new blank.

It'd be sweet to have a 10.5" and 18.6" quick swap barrel setup, but it's just a dream right now. :)

Everyone is interested in a NR version without having to deal with Questar. Why don't the gun stores just automatically change them into NR acrs before even putting up for sale. They can charge a premium of course for their trouble and parts. I just want to carry it out of the store that same day and not have to deal with bullshiat, is that too much to ask from a customer?

I'm NOT Paying $3500+ for a NR Rifle.

Looks like "Gravel Agency" in Quebec is a Canadian Distributor in selling bushmaster products including the ACR (as well as other firearms and accessories etc). I sent them an email if they can get one for me (So I will let you guys know!).

Their old Catalog from 2012 showed an ACR with a 18.5 inch barrel From Bushmaster. However, the 2013 catalog does not list the 18.5 inch version of the ACR. Also bushmaster specifies you can get the 16.5 or 18.5 inch barrel in their website.

"Tool-less, quick-change barrel system available in 10.5", 14.5", 16.5" and 18.5" and in multiple calibers "

It's pricey but I would pay more to have anything that is like an ar15! This restricted crap is so irritating! I don't get how a military rifle like the Tavor gets a pass at being a non restricted but many others get the restricted title!

Here's the website btw:

We know who brings them in. There are only a couple of main distributors for things here in Canada. And they gouge us whenever they can.
Luckily for us. Some stores are going out and importing their own products and getting better pricing and selection

I don't know of any other distributor. Would you be able to tell me the other ones? Honestly, I am really new to firearms I never got one yet. Only have a NR license for now and sending paperwork for my R license. That sucks that they make you pay top dollar! I hope I can afford the price that it's at now...

Simple, distribution orders them in 18.5from the factory cost down. Not orders them in 16.5 and orders barrel kits for conversion. Had one sold it, even after conversation at heron arms. It's long, it's heavy, if anything breaks on it. It becomes a paper weight. Three years for a barrel kit? What if need a repair done. The gun had to go.
