I've come into possession of an older Bushnell scope that, according to the previous owner, has some issues. Evidently, when sighting in, the zero moves like it's suppsoed to but at a certain point the crosshairs spring back to the starting point. I'm not a scope guy by any means but it sounds like a tension spring (is that what it;s even called?) problem. The scope is marked Bushnell Custom 3x-9x and then on the bottom is marked 3-9x38 Japan.
First question, does anyone know what sort of scope this would be comparable to in today's Bushnells? I've never come across a Bushnell Custom so have no idea really.
Secondly, if i fire this back to Bushnell for servicing and repair what sort of response am I likely to get?
Thanks,
ILBR
