I've never had an Axis, and therefore would not be able to comment on it. When I do buy a mount, Leupold tends to be my normal choice.

I have a 3200 on one rifle for about 12 years. It has worked very well and I only move the POA if I change ammo. The 3200 is generally seen as the starting point for reliability and clearness (at it's price point) for Bushnell. I've slowly crept up to higher end optics on other rifles - but there is no reason yet to replace the 3200 I have on the one rifle it was originally mounted on.

I've had a 3-9x50 elite 3200 on my browning 300 win mag for 12 years. No complaints.

With a $200 budget, id go with Bushnell's AR optics. Very clear glass at an exceptional price.
