Not sure if anyone cares to hear of my stupidity, but I by accident left my Bushnell TRS-25 turned on for at least a couple of weeks. I have had that particular red dot for over a year and use it on occasion, so that battery wasn't new. I was using it last probably at least two weeks ago, if not closer to three weeks ago. I left it on setting "7". I realized that it was turned on today and looked through it to see a blank lens. I cranked it up to "11", and the dot was still slightly visible.
Not bad battery life I says to myself. I have a ton of spare batteries, so I popped a new one in - first battery change in any of my TRS-25's. I am even happier with that little sight than I was before. High value, low cost. It has so far served me well.
Thought someone may want to hear that little review. Take it for what it's worth.
