I had a Bushnell 2-7X compact scope that was about 10 years old the reticle broke in it earlier this year.
I sent it into Bushnell for warranty in early Feb to get it repaired under warranty.
I just heard back from them at the end of last week, they told me that the scope would cost to much to be repaired, they then offered me a supposed deal on a 3200 series 1.5 - 4X scope their deal would have cost me more than retail.
Told them to shove it up ther *ss and that I will never buy another Bushnell optic product again...

That's a real odd story..I brought in my Bushnell scope to the service centre in Markham. Guy took a look at it said it was broken and I walked out the door with a free new one. All was said and done in less than 20 minutes.

Long and short of it, I ended up with a pile of them when they started breaking. Warranty or not, I had scopes going both ways in the mail, sitting for months without even getting looked at, being returned to break again, and scopes with wild parallax problems being declared as "within spec" The screws on my rings were getting worn out swapping scopes, replacing scopes, and testing scopes. It took a couple years to swap out practically every scope I owned to Leupold. Buying a couple dozen quality scopes in a short time hurts. Writing off the cost of a pile of elites to experience hurts too.
