You can buy refurbished P226s for around $850, when you can find them. The EE is a good source too.

Very nice Sig. A couple of guys at my club own Sig P226's and absolutely love them. I tried both of them out and I was hooked on 9mm pistols. If I saw a good deal on a used one I'd probably consider it but the new ones I've seen have had prices over $1000, more expensive than the Baby Eagle.

That is an excellent price for one with the rail, but it is a cash one from what I see. Can't go wrong there.

Forget the .22 and get a 9mm like a M&P or a Glock.

You can get either one for $599 from CanAm (a CGN Sponser) or you can find them on the EE every now and then for a good price. I can't tell you if one is better than the other but I just bought a M&P9mm this morning and can let you know in a week or so weather I like it or not.

From the reports that I've read here, I don't think I'm going to be disapponted
