Was looking at reloading press and accessories on Cabela's web site. Everything is about 30 to 50% less than here. Beside the shipping fee, taxes, broker's fee, is there a catch?

Something shipped by USPS will not involve a broker's fee.
Will Cabela's export anything firearms related?

No dies, no scopes no bullets no brass!nothing firearm related in general
I ordered quite a bit of stuff from them and before 911 they did ship most of the stuff but nothing now.
Now mostly cloths i get!
But from wads to trigger gaurds they wont ship it!
When our dollar was low it was not worth it unless you really needed someting.

Try Natchez Shooter's Supplies in Tennesee. I've ordered many times from them. They have reasonable shipping through USPS. They will sell reloading equipment including presses and dies to Canada, no reloading components or anything that can be attached to a firearm though.

Here's the site: www.natchezss.com

Find out what you want and then call their international shipping line: 423-899-0499, to order.

Canadians can't order online.

Take a look. I bet the prices are competetive with Cabela's.

I just tried to order Lee Classic Press from Cabela,s and was told they will not ship to Canada so I ordered from Lock Stock and Barrel with no problem.

to get back to the original question. Cabela's will add shipping, GST and PST, and brokerage. they usuallly ship Fedex at least that's what they used with me- the brokerage is not nearly as bad as UPS the other thing is on stuff made in china or india -ie not US or mexico -there will be duties as well as thesea re not free trade countries. the ri website will state if the stuff is imported which usually means China.

so when you have 15% GST/PST, shipping, borkerage, you can easily get up to a 25 -30% additional cost

I know Cabela's won't ship dies to Canada, so I really doubt they'd ship a press.

I've bought dies from them a few times now without issue. The last time was about a month ago.

There really is no rhyme or reason to what they will or won't ship. You can buy a Cabelas tumbler and have it shipped to Canada no problems, but if you try to buy the Cabelas tumbler with media.....comes up restricted.

How long ago was that? I tried to order an RCBS Rockchucker this past weekend and no dice. The won't ship any firearms related stuff to Canada. :(

I bought my Lock & Load press about five months ago, ordered it online. I ordered some dies yeasterday, even spoke with a rep on the phone, so far no problems.

I hope they ship them.

I ordered a LEE 1000 a week ago from Cabelas.Doesnt seem to have been a problem, its come off my Visa and seems to have been shipped according to their e mails.Price was $132.99!.

On Nov 7 -07 from Cabellas in the US
I bought a RCBS Rock Chucker press only $114.99 and a RCBS Shell Holder for$5.99.Total billed to my Visa was $153.31 includes delivery to my door.

I just tried to order from Cabellas in Us today at 4pm and again they said that they can not ship Lee press or dies to Canada, could this just be a Lee product issue or am I doing something wrong when ordering ?
