Yeah, I am still glowing over the whole experience, meat in the freezer and happy kids, might even get a belt buckle from the rod and gun club. Got burned again for elk, and didn't capitalize on a white tail, but a great hunting season for 2016. Now I want to see if I can put some pressure on the predators harassing the ungulates in their wintering zones..

Lots of great moose and stories on here! Congrats to all that participated!!!! If anybody is considering a guided moose hunt in Alaska I can heartily recommend Renfro's Alaskan Adventures. Great outfit with literally tons of amazing moose taken every year.

Okay, I should probably know this after a decade of CGN...but what is the one-star vote you're talking about, Angus? Is it separate from the poll itself?

Yea the you can vote on the quality of a thread overall on the top right of the screen "Rate this thread", seems we just got a one star as we dropped a bunch yesterday. Fairly meaningless just a socially interesting deal somebody was put off. And indeed it was a lot of fun, BwanaDave's idea that I stole.

So I tried voting on a couple of other threads I've posted in...and still couldn't, for apparently the same reason. So then I visited threads I've never even looked at and tried to vote...and still couldn't!

My apologies if I caused the problem; I've never voted on any thread, ever...so I need to visit the troubleshooting thread and figure this out. PLease excuse the highjack...

I do not have room for it however it is currently at the taxidermist in Kodiak getting a full shoulder mount done...We will worry about where to put it after ;-)
