By request Trickler now with video

It's a vibration damper. Just a weight with shrink tubing. Used to regulate the (speed?) amount of powder delivered

interesting!
Is it stuck in one place or do you move it along the tube to regulate the amount of damping?
pls upload a video once it's working.

Yo yomomma,

Your work here makes me question my IQ.... I paid about 400 u.s for something similar to your build.
Yes, I never said I was smart.

I can't wait to see the video!

Cheers,

When I worked up in Elliot Lake my friend was rebuilding his Cobra Jet engine in his kitchen. Why yes he was wifeless

I painted and rebuilt a 1980 Rd350 motorbike in my living room many years ago and yes I was single at the time. To paint the parts I hung plastic on the walls and from the ceiling to floor, in front of the window, in a 8' square area. I hung all the part from the ceiling and sprayed it.LOL
I should add it was winter time and I wanted it done for spring.

^^^ We ported a pair of snowmobile cylinders one night in a hotel room to be ready for the next morning. We hung a sheet against the wall to keep most of the metal grinding contained, but that room ended up needing a thorough cleaning after we left that weekend.

Very nice! Thx for the video.

Looks like you at least doubled your $5 budget with that fancy controller box with deluxe push buttons ;)

Just wondering for your further revisions; why not just throwing your bulk and topping off with only low speed.
Trickling the full load might take a bit long and if you throw close to your desired weight there won't be much to trickle.

I'm an industrial electrician by trade. I have acquired all sorts of stuff by dumpster diving.

You are right. Maybe automating my Lee powder measure is Rev. 4.0 :)

Did you see that nice optic sensor I posted a link too on your thread?
