Ouch! That right there, is why I won't touch any 12(3) CAs unless they have very recently been inspected such that updated photos will suffice. Anything that has to go to the Lab for "inspection" might as well disappear down a black hole in terms of whether or not you will live long enough to actually receive the firearm years down the road. What a pathetic joke the SFSS "lab" and its "technicians" are. I'm sure that the positive impact on public safety accrued by withholding property from law-abiding citizens is well worth the time, money and effort expended, right? Right?!?Nice i sold off most of my stuff for divorce lawyers and a new harley i only have about 20 guns left out of 250 .i was not and still am not that much into modern stuff ..just enfields and a few CA and OIC to keep my pal i have a few coming still waiting for the rcmp to get off their ass i had all the new welds done on 3 CAs but the guy assigned to me went on mental leave and he gave my file to his co worker now im back at the bottom of pile...took 5 years for my last transfer
Mark, I'd hazard a guess that if it has a trigger, you're getting one. There's no time like the present!

If it has a post WWII military pedigree and is legal to own, then pretty much!Mark, I'd hazard a guess that if it has a trigger, you're getting one.
I thought so at first. Then we started hanging stuff off our AR's like teenage girls hang jewelry on themselves. Now I see AR's that are heavier than the FN's. So weight may have been an argument for the design, but doesn't seem to matter that much in the field. No recoil with a 12 pound AR though, there's that. - danNor did I...until I was issued a C7. lol
Sweet sister Sadie where did you get that! There's no time like the present!

I'm old and spent my kids' inheritances.....Sweet sister Sadie where did you get that!
I don't know what the "new kids on the block" do these days, when deployed in the field, but it's been my personal experience that once troopies get "blooded" and have been there, done that a few times all of the "superfluous" junk gets ditched pretty quickly, or "misplaced" before heading out.I thought so at first. Much the same fer me back in '70, but I was 6' an 150 lbs. Had no worries on qualifying with & packing the C1 around. Yes, the C2 was a buggerAgree. Think I was 5'8" or so back in 1970 when we were qualifying with the C1. Worked fine for me, though a small stature friend of mine got pushed back (prone shooting) every time he fired it. He was game though, kept pushing back up to his position, and did reasonably well. That C2 though was quite a bit more of a load. - dan
You deploy the Vickers to make sure the kids finish their vegetables? In Lanark County, its called over watch! My favorite after the C1A1
