looks like my IUR build is close to the RCMP carbine by pure accident, I did not even know it existed.
already have the ergo grip, just need sights and maybe a different fore-grip,
what foregrip is on the RCMP carbine? looks like a tango down too in the pic just in black.
Yup Tango Down, but not the quick release and in black.
I am very interested in doing an IUR build.

Buy a complete SA20 plus an 15.7 IUR upper then accessorize as needed. Of course it would cost more, but it would be an all CC product with the bonus of the 20" barrel when you want to reach out a little farther.

I just put a deposit on an IUR yesterday. In the short term, I will be mounting it on a Lower that I already own (an ATI OMNI Hybrid - don't flame me! It's a short term situation!) while I acquire and build the lower I really want.
I would like a Colt Canada lower, but simply can't afford/justify buying a complete SA20 as was suggested. My "economical option" would be an Aero Precision Lower. My "All Canadian" options would be CADEX or ATRS. I have to admit, I do like the Safety switch markings on the ATRS.

I just picked up the Colt Canada IUR for $800. I wanted a Canadianish lower as well, but couldn't justify the cost of picking up a Colt Canada lower. So instead picked up a Dlask Arms lower for $250. I'm going to put in a Daniel Defense BCG. At this point not sure what stock to put on.

Nice C8 IURs here. Mine's been sitting on a Colt LE6920 lower that I had from before, but the OCD in me made me buy a stripped lower recently and I'm sort of kicking myself for not waiting a bit for these complete lowers to come out. They seem to be popping up everywhere, but they sure move fast.
