Except that most have paid $700 for theirs. I'll gladly take yours off your hands for $450. Hell, I'll give you $500.

From what I understand more are coming. That being said, at $699, they're still a good deal.

I put mine together the Lego kit way, so my options for a stock were $125 for a CC, or less money for pretty much anything else, lol.

No, you are not the only one. Mine is almost like the one I used at work, other than the civi lower.

It's perfect just the way it is. If I want to get all zombie apocalypse I will add my CC Triad to fix lights and lasers.

Nope, I'm with you 100%. I much prefer my military firearms to be in "as issued" configuration. This extends to the original barrel length as well as furniture and sights/optics, even if it means that a firearm must be restricted. I have other rifles without "history" that get all of the latest and greatest gadgetry to best suit my physique and preferences.

Some things are best in their original, minimalist form. The basic C8 is a perfect example just as it is....

I remember shooting a SR match with cf. I had the neutered version of their rifles lol. Down to the matching green furniture.
 
I guess you're right, i'll keep it as is and put the old stock back on.

I gotta figure something for optics though, my eyes can't do iron sights.

Any pics of this in the wild? My google-fu is weak today.

This would definitely be cool to have for an old school build. Pricy I bet.

Sierre Leone if I remember right. I could've sworn there was another one that showed a squirrel taking a knee with a radio and a similar C8.
