I'd go with a Magpul MOE SL carbine-length Handguard. Relatively cheap and gives you side and bottom M-LOK slots for a sling mount, vertical grip, hand stop, etc. I'd also probably run the matching MOE+ pistol grip and MOE SL carbine stock (but that's just me, I'm a Magpul whore).
There's one in the EE.
Sierre Leone if I remember right. I could've sworn there was another one that showed a squirrel taking a knee with a radio and a similar C8.
Now that setup could convince me into a full build.....

Build a poor man's RAS.
LOL, a lot of us did the same a few years back with my work guns.
This one is actually build by Diemaco. A guy that used to work there gave it to me for the collection. The machine metal inserts have the Devtek stamped on them. It also has a machined rail on the side for the M3 light.
Weird, we had drawers of the C9 butt grips that got handed out to be used on C7's. Didn't know it'd gotten that kind of attention at the factory.
