tagged for interest! I am thinking about pulling the trigger on this upper.
Posted this in another thread but I'll share it here too.
Just got mine, beat up but structurally sound for sure. Bolt is in great shape. CH is worn but functions perfectly. Bore is excellent and very shiny. Handguards are worn, and have a decent chunk into the front left (0.50" across, not punctured through though).
Overall I'm pleased, it's a cool piece of Canadiana for the collection. Put it on a CC enhanced ambi lower and it's right at home next to the No1 Mk4 Long Branch. Props to SFRC for these.
Planning to build out a CC stripped lower and get a black buttstock for it. This lower will stay on my MRR.

What I have seen
Bores perfect
Bolt carriers seem to have very little use.
Inside the uppers seem to have less wear then I've seen on a guns I've run with 1000 rounds .
THESE GUNS are 30 yes old!!
My professional opinion is these have been handled alot and not shot anywhere as much as they look.

Yup that pretty much sums up mine as well. Heavy cosmetic wear, near perfect bore and internals. You guys have any more? Would love to swing by the store and grab one.
Received my upper today, put it on a spare CC lower and "voila" this is what I got!
Very nice. I wish I had bought one now.
