Cabelas Chinese SKS sale

They will be okay for today's standard but not as nice as the Ukrainian imports were a few years ago.
Still best to get one while you can.

If you pick one up, make sure it has a threaded barrel. Russian stocks were made for threaded barrel actions. Pinned barrel receiver won't line exactly up with the cross bolt in a stock made for threaded barrel.

Good luck.

For some reason, not showing flyer for eastern Canada, anyone have a link?
Yea, ours is Bass Pro/Cabelas, mostly cabelas High priced gear in there though, but Bass pro said no sks and no AR-15!!! These guys are pooching it big time, a year and a half late opening, not much stock at all for firearms and 90% of the time our CTC beats their price and if it doesn't they will try! Too bad, plus the missus they have behind the counter needs to take a chill pill, cranky and rude! Unless they change, I can see them shutting down during the next recession! Although, at their price points they don't have to sell much to break even!

That's what happened so I think at or former store Lebarons in Ontario . bad customer service and competition from Bass pro. the next time you get lip from a woman or man behind the counter you can either go to the manager or ask them what's your problem . if you want me to go spend my money somewhere else I will and I'll make sure that I'll let the manager of this store know the reason why . and I can bet they will be choking down the chill pill right in front of you . as for the Chinese sks rifles if you can get them for $190 or so than that's a great price . I don't think anymore will be imported .

on Ontario . heck they used to have some good deals but some of their employees had bad attitudes . If I was you my friend the next time you get lip from someone go speak to the manager . his job is on the line if they close also .

^^^ you are right, however, I can't see myself having a need to go in there again! I will however go on their site if I can find it and give it a nice (not) rating!

Picked one up this morning. No visible rust. Factory /26\. Stock is not pristine, but very far from the worst i have seen.

Was tempted to buy 2. Highly recommend to those on the fence.

Finally got home and stripped it down.
Small amount of rust under the receiver
Trigger group and bolt are 1 serial number
Stock and receiver are another
Mag does not match either.
Upper hand guard is split in half. Not sure how i missed that in store.
Screwed barrel (not pinned)
Soaked in oil
Mag pinned via black rivet in the bottom.
Oil tube and tools. No sling or stripper clips
