I'd go to the range and talk with some of the members you probably will get the answers you seek and actually hold or fire a few.

They have a firm policy of no returns on firearms, yet they don't let you properly inspect the firearm before buying it.
The more I think about it, the more I realize that Cabelas can kiss my ass.

Doesn't Cabela's have a 30 day return policy on manufactures defects?
No way to inspect a firearm when purchasing a firearm online or on the EE. A used firearm on the EE is always buyer beware. Lots of good people on the EE but due diligent is still required.

I regress, there is a workaround at Cabela's on trying out the trigger/action just for the asking.
