Cabelas store in Montreal

well i live in MIRABEL.. so i drove down the autoroute 15 today ..and they have started cutting trees and ground breaking has started ..i am realy happy because i am fed up with the hunting stores we have here ,everything is allway's on BACKORDER .i will keep u up to date on the project....ps. i might even take a picture of the project ...
 
I have to agree with one of the previous posts, if the SIR buyout leads to a shakeup at the gun counter it will be a good thing. There are a couple rather surly guys there who give off a touch too much attitude for my liking. Never get that at wholesale, in my opinion. (But the price is better at SIR and I'm cheaper than i am sensitive).

I now refuse to shop at SIR, too many times I have waited cash in hand to buy a rifle while people kicked tires endlessly, or waited 20-30mins to buy some ammo:mad:. I can't believe they just came up with "take a number" in the last couple of years. Even at the start of hunting season I have never had to wait more than 5min at Wholesale and the service isn't surly. way more accessory selection too. I hope the Cabela buyout changes some of those things, then my money might return
 
Cabella's actually just bought out SIR so they are currently moving in all of the cabelas items but I can see it taking a very long time for it to get organized. the stuff that they have gotten in so far is really over priced.
