Cadex CDX Precision Rifle ( New pics with a PGW )

I cant wait for more guys to get their hands on them. More range reports will help narrow down the best ammo combo :)
I certainly hope Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr shoots well in them... I picked up 1k rounds of it as I was able to get it to my door at about $27/box. Shoots very well in my Savage 10BA and every target rifle my dad shoots.

Disclaimer before people chime in on handloads... I work full time while studying 30 hours a week. I have no time to reload.

SPUHR mount showed up today, But now I have an issue, I used the supplied tool to install the scope. The mount shows level, I put a level on the turret that shows level and my crosshairs are tilted in the scope... WTF...

If the mount and turrets show level I wouldn't bee the rail that off would it ?

Was the wedge oriented correctly. I'm stating the obvious but there is a flat side and beveled side and they will not achieve the desired resust if not positioned correctly. Just saying.

Looking a little farther back from the eye piece does the vertical reticle line not look like it's pointing through the center of the rifle?

Could be a canted reticle. :( Hopefully that's not the case, because at long range you'll be all over the place. Wasn't like that with the previous mount?

Really lol...

Well then, What are you basing your opinion that the reticle is canted upon? Does it simply look canted from behind the gun or have you levelled the rifle and confirmed it against a plumb line.

I ask because I have a rifle scope combo that when you're positioned behind the gun, the reticle appears to have a slight cant however the reticle has been confirmed to plumb and it is simply a perception thing.

Will give a plumb line a try tonight. Didn't think to try that.

But the wedge thing is still funny. It only goes one way...lol

I finally got to handle one of theese rifles. Nice piece of kit ! Very well made and seems rock solid. I found only one downside. While inspecting the rifle I found that the last inch or so of the INSIDE of the barrel was coated with the paint used to coat the exterior.....

I would have to go to the dealer who has it. I showed it to the clerk last evening. We both went WTF !!!! Dilligaf... Coating of the exterior of the barrel seems to have made it inside as well. The crown and barrel face was painted. My guess is that the muzzle was not plugged when painted.
