Calgary Clinic - 06 Jun 2009 Debrief HERE!

Some GNers have been having issues downloading the 04 Abbotsford clinic videos from the Military Surplus Collectors form. If you are one of those individuals, bring a thumb drive or SD card with 350mb free space and you can snag a copy from my laptop.

Also, if you want a head space check, bring 3 fired casings. I'm sure 45 and Hungary will also be equipped to perform that check.

Thanks dude, I would love to get that info from you, I will bring my memory stick!!!

Hungry, I have no spent brass from my M-14 handy. If I fire off a few rounds sometime during the clinic (lunch perhaps) would that give you enought time to look at them and check for headspace?

How do you correct headspace if it is off?

Correct headspace ? We just rebarrel the entire unit. No joking. Your headspace WILL be well within NATO standards I will guarantee that! The entire issues of headspacing is covered ad nauseaum in this forum and I will go over that in the clinic (yer #### will not fall off)

The question is : Do you need a match chamber? or a battle rifle chamber? That's the real biggie question. Most of you will get along in life with a battle rifle chamber with yer private parts intact :D !!!

Sweet!!! I just need a battle rifle chamber. Do I need some spent brass?

I have a Sadlak spring guide, but the Norinco spring is too small. Will there be any larger diameter springs at the clinic?

I can't wait for this.

Hungry here: Not sure if anyone has extra action springs to sell/ flog, but they can be had. Not a hard thing to buy from Brownells if you must.

Sorry Mr H

I later realized that I had opened pandora's box when I wrote "head space check".

Should have stated "measure head space"!

Although I didn't ATTEND the class, I was in TSE this morning and popped my head in. It was good to finally meet Hungry after dealing with him NUMEROUS times over the years. Looks like you guys had fun - I'd never seen so many M14's in one place! :)

I am impressed to see how many attendees have already posted their response to the course, and have voiced their appreciation to Hungry for making the Western trip.

He makes nothing out of these events, and does it for the good of the sport. So, bravo and thanks again.

Nice to see you all!!!!
