Calgary Clinic - 06 Jun 2009 Debrief HERE!

Great Clinic!!! The parkarizing project was a true learning experience.

However, upon taking inventory I appear to be missing a set of heavy duty castle nut pliers. If you can help locate them please PM me.

Thanks.

Thank-you, thank-you Hungry and Savage!
I had a great time, learnt a lot, laughed at your crazy stories, and am very appreciative for you taking the time to volunteer for us M14 geeks.
Job well done.

Many Thanks are in order,I have to give a big Thanks to JR ,James B and the all the Staff at The Shooting Edge for graciously allowing us the use thier great Facility for our clinic it was awesome .A big thanks to Hungry for flying out and making this clinic happen and all his funny antidotes. To all those that particapated that made this M14 clinic great ,Thank You and we are planning on setting up another clinic again next year in April. To those that could not attend I look forward to seeing at the next clinic .Fellow M14 NUTZ it was a great time and I had lot of fun see you there next year

I'm sitting here at Savage's basement desktop computer getting ready for his shuttle job to the airport. Many thanks are in order;

* JR, James x 2, and all the Staff at TSE for use of their facility
* Marcus and Stefan (gunsmiths) for their support and humour all Saturday
* Savage for being a super pointman
* All you CGNutz for laughing at my old jokes (and confirming that they have not changed from the 2004 Abbotsford Clinic in the video)
* All you M14 lovers out there who could not make it, but your support was appreciated (I'll get home and start arranging refunds for your $ 35)

It was fantastic once again to meet many of you and also re-connect with other past clinic attendees (they still laughed at the old jokes). I truly enjoyed meeting all the new faces whom I've dealt with over the years (Canucklehead) !

What a great time. My head is spinning from the over stimulation of the day. The steak at The Keg was fabulous as usual. And then our evening social getogether with Beltfed and HeadDamage was memorable.

Gotta run now.

My castle nut pliers have been located. They had gotten mixed into the show-and-tell tools? Guess that's what happens when you stand around watching Park solution boil all afternoon! Reminded me of hanging around in the paint booth at shop.

Another GREAT Clinic! Many thanks to Hungry, Savage and TSE. Ends up that Savage and I knew each other from back in the day (early 70's).

My best to all of you. Hope to cross paths at the range, in the field or the next clinic (God willing I'll be there).

As always ACTS and PROVE - Live by them

Your not that old, but I guess old enough to not know where your pliers were!!! Just Kidding GN.

Was a blast!! Although my long hatred against roll pins has been freshly renewed.

If you heard a guy in the front on the floor randomly swearing, that was me as I bent ANOTHER rollpin. :D

It was also funny to see the sheer number of people that were just so hesitant to whack the shim dies with the plastic hammer. Big tough guys suddenly getting wet feet and doing the pansy hammer thing. :D:D:D

But was so worth it: learned more about my norcs in 8 hours then I had ever known in the last 6 months.

Met some fellow M-14 enthusiasts - check
Learned alot about my rifle - check
My M-14 is nice and bright now - check
#### still attached - check

Thanks Hungry. I will attend any future Calgary clinics.

I would also like to express my appreciation for the wealth of information Hungry and Savage let me sponge up. I got some useful tweaking in while I was there and picked up enough knowledge to keep me tweaking for quite a while yet. It is really increadible to find people eager to volunteer their time for our benefit for not reason but the fun of it!
