In her situation, I say she has no resonability whatsoever. She didn't draft the legislation or put it into law. I say kudos to her for choosing to work over EI.Question... So at what point does the minion of the failing system need to take responsibility for the role they play? Some say never.

I'm 100% all for scraping the registry, but on the other hand I wouldn't hesitate taking a job there to feed my family if I had to.I just wish the registry people were moved to 100% licensing issues... With the registry scrapped altogether...
As far as customer service goes, there are a lot of gun shops and mail-order warehouses that could take a lesson from them. I'd rather talk to some of the ladies at the CFC than try and talk to someone at LeBaron.![]()
Theres a beautiful blond wearing white calf length leather boots at Le baron Ottawa. You might be happy to talk to her.
Normally I would.![]()
However, she likely knows jack about guns or reloading...
Lets all cut the crap here, shall we?
Time for being either naive or in denial is over......
We all KNOW why this system was created and we all KNOW exactly where it is rapidly heading.
The problem is not the people on either end of the phone and we all know that as well. FOR THE MOST PART Cdn gun owners and CFC people alike are good people. We are responsible on our end and they are just doing their jobs to feed their families on their end. Nothing more needs to be said.
The problem is SYSTEMIC. It was created by a group of people with a very real and very negative agenda. Politicians are only front men for these people and its time to get your heads out of that dark place concerning this issue.
These people need a special kind of voting out and we all know it.
Stop debating. Stop the feel good bull****. Get right to the point.
They have been logging/tracking us and we all know its coming to a head in the not too distant future.

Most of my experiences with them have been excellent. The only time I've had issues are trying to register wildcats. If you really want to confuse the system, tell them you have a:
You: "I have an (insert wildcat calibre here) built on a Mauser action"
CFC: "So it's a Mauser?"
You: Yes
CFC: We don't have that calibre listed, sir
Y: It's a wildcat.
CFC: So it's a sporter?
Y: Um, sure?
CFC: So it's not a Mauser?
Y: It's built using a k98 mauser action.
CFC: So it's a k98?
Y: No, it has that action.
CFC: What calibre is it again?
Y: (insert wildcat here)
CFC: Well no k98 has that calibre.
Y: Well it's not a Mauser. It's built on a mauser action. It's a wildcat, and that calibre is what's stamped on the barrel
CFC: So it's not a Mauser? It's a "Wildcat"?
Y: No, it's built on a Mauser.
CFC: We have no mauser k98 with that calibre in the system, sir
Y: ...
It was a very entertaining conversation. But I find as long as you are patient, usually the ladies are helpful and polite.
It's easier to do it over the phone. The rifle I registered was the same cartridge as Hansol did [375 Taylor]. They did ask a few more questions, but I was still able to do w/o having to go to a verifier. Why didn't you have it verified before you called CFC?
