Congratulations! you must have a lot of dogs in your area to be able to get so many. They sure dont show up like that here in Ontario. I'd love to have a spot like that to hunt. Keep up the good work!!

having a very high population of coyotes and unlimited amount of private land to hunt increases the odds for success.

Some of the areas I hunt border on the big bush country. Fringe area where encountering a wolf is not uncommon. The 22-250 isnt any harder on the coyotes than a 223 as long as you don’t hit them bad. I’ve ripped coyotes in half with the 223 with edge hits

Won't work Frank, we are in Ontario... you can only wave at the dumb coyotes that live (apparently in great abundance) out west.

Don't laugh,you guys. I have a hunting buddy that swears by that method. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. He used an old fur glove with some fishing line hung over a low branch. I called and he worked the mitt. We got four that day.

I had no luck until i started going early. Get in and set up as the sun comes up. They love early mornings.

I have permission for a fair bit of properties in alberta farmland which hasnt been hunted much.

Perfect. I run something loud like jack rabbit for about 30 seconds near max then go quiet and still for 5 minutes. Then start something a bit less obnoxious for a bit at lower volume and honestly, within a minute I'll have one running in.
