Calling out...Browning Hi Power buff

I bought a Browning 9mm Hi Power about 6 months ago (unseen) and just picked it up today.
To my surprise, it's an Inglis.
I would like to talk with someone who knows Browning Hi Powers.

Buy, borrow or steal Clive Law's book "the Inglis Diamond". Everything you could want to know about these guns, and enough in there to even sink the hook and make a guy collect just Inglis's.
Otherwise ask away. And for god's sake, post some pics.

There are a few available in the EE.

My Inglis is for collection. Have a MKIII in 40 for shooting. Gotta get another in 9mm. Wood grips, adjustable sights.

Thirty or thirty-five thousand guns came out of the Inglis factory, right?
Not the tangent sight but the fixed sight.

-Go to www.photobucket.com and register
-Resize your pics to around 800x whatever
-Download them at photobucket
-Once laoded you will see a list of ways to copy your pic. Click on the last one
-Return to CGN, click on a new post box and go up to the tool bar under edit.
-Hit "paste"
-Hit "submit reply" and your pic should be there.

host your photo on a web server somewhere, like photobucket.com, then when you make or edit a post here, click the "insert image" icon above the mesage composition text area, and paste in the link to your image.

I suggest you go to the following forums:

The first two forums, even though they are 1911. have excellent Browning forums. Some posters to read are gp35fn and Stephen Camp. gp35fh has built a number of Inglis pistols from parts and has stickys on builds. I think hyou will fine then interesting.

There was just under 94,000 of the T series pistols, and around 60,000 of the Chinese version. Total official production was 153480, plus some oddballs and lunch box specials.
