I choose to hunt everything in camo because the rest of my clothes is washed in regular detergent which contains UV brighteners,
which will make whatever clothes you choose to hunt with, much more visible to all game.
In theory, a good camo pattern should break up the human shape, and maybe cause an animal to hesitate for a second before running.[/QUOTE]
THIS! I wear camo, not for the "cool" factor, but because it breaks up my shape and helps me blend into my surroundings. White tail have very good eye sight and (as noted) they see in a different colour spectrum. Given that there are very few straight lines in nature, some of camo patterns make you essentially invisible. Added bonus, if you're in an area where there are yahoos or novices who do "sound" shots or are easily spooked, being invisible is a distinct advantage.
