Campro projectiles ?

Maybe Whelan is asking about the 180gr 303 SP then? Presumably if Campro went to the effort of making a SP they intend it to be hunted with. Campro uses plating on pistol bullets but in my understanding most of the rifle bullets are just simple cup and core jacketed bullets.
My understanding as well. Their .224 bullets did not shoot well for me but their 9mm HP are very accurate in my pistol.

Are the 45-70 405 good for hunting deer and black bear?
I can’t see why not. I’m pushing mine with IMR 4198 and keeping it under Ruger no1 and Marlin start pressures. And shooting with my H&R Buffalo classic.
I think if you keep your distances respectful you shouldn’t have any problems. They’ll definitely punch completely thru deer as I’ve yet to dig one deep outa the sand berm.

Does anyone know if they sell to the public wholesale?

75k to 100k bullets

I know shipping would be brutal from Quebec, but it could go pallet day and Ross I'm thinking

Just curious if anyone has purchased from then directly?

I tried some of their .224 HPBT Jackedted in my .223; not great.

I do use their 9mm 147 gr plated hollow point. They cut a clean hole in a target like a wadcutter.

I use the .224 bullets just for plinking, I'll use something else if I want to shoot accurately. Since the latest ban I no longer need longer range accuracy, so PC'd cast and Campro are all I'm loading now. As I just did a 2 hr batch on my Dillon 550 for other stuff the boy blunder doesn't like.

CamPro 147gr work pretty good in my .30-06 at reduced speed.

I got similar results from my 30-06 today at 1950fps. The 22cal 55gr FMJ have not shot as well. Only 2nd time out with those.
