Can a Canadian own a gun permit in USA

canam you have to explain this one to me i am pretty shure you need to be a citizen to obtain a valid class III tax stamp

7k for a uzi. OMFG for this price I will buy a AWP.

...snip...pull your head out of Counter-Strike and get it in the reg books.

x2

You continue to amaze me with your posts. You have to realize that gun ownership is not a game. What you have "learned" in CS and other FPS games means nothing and has nothing to do with reality (and this seems to be where you are getting your information from).

Real firearms deserve respect and responsibility. They are not a toy.

So far you have asked about:

  • Armour Piercing rounds
  • What's the biggest/most powerful gun you are allowed to own
  • Stopping power
  • What gun to use to protect yourself from gangsters
  • Sniper rifles
  • Fully Automatic firearms
  • Burst firing
All of this shows me you have no intention or interest in using a firearm for either target shooting or hunting (which are the only things most people are legally allowed to do in Canada).

I have no idea how you passed your CFSC/CRFSC tests.

You absolutely frighten me with what you talk about. I really hope, for your sake, that you get a lot more real life instruction before you even think about purchasing your first firearm.

From what I understand, the value of these full auto's goes up and up.....it might be a good investment if you can stomach the political risk.
True, but the first problem is how do you obtain it at the first place.
I am sure full-auto will make a good investment better than Lehman Brothers at least.

1) Move to class 3 state
2) Become US citizen
3) Pass background check and fingerprinting
4) Buy firearm.

It was all up there. Even though this list is pretty short, none of it is easy.

He hasn't, he is not of age yet, it was in one of his posts.

I am actually 17 but I have already completed the restricted firearms course +non-restricted firearms course...snip

Why people continue to encourage this kid is beyond me. He has no business owning a firearm until he gets some real instruction from a trained professional.

And if someone wants to jump on me for being harsh to a "newbie" go ahead. But there is a big difference between being young and a newbie to being completely ignorant of firearms laws and just "wanting to have gunz cuz they r cool".

I have no problem with someone being new, I am new myself, but this is ridiculous...drop the counter-strike mentality and get real.

To my knowledge according to the AWB which is the Assault Weapons Ban all assault weapons created after 1986 could only be semi-auto and not full-auto so if anybody living in the US who wanted to get a full-auto assault weapon has to purchase one that was manufactured in 1986 or before.

I could be wrong though but if I am then please let me know.

I couldn't agree more. This guy's a liability. Lots of people ask newb questions, very few bring up as many red flags as alice.

Na just a permit that allows me to shoot full-auto

you wont be able to get a permit to buy a automatic weapon in canada

and you wont be able to get the transport permit to go to the rangeif you had it before 1978

the only way to shoot full auto = get in the army or find some new friend with motorcycle and tatoo lol

This kid will most probably have a hard time buying his first gun let alone be able to afford ammunition for a full- auto assault rifle or SMG.

He is being stupid and childish and still won't drop the subject after he has been told time and time again.

Exactly where he says you can go.
What about you take this thread (your thread)
and READ (people here have suggested that, didn't they?) and
maybe you can find a post by member linzeiisdad
and find the answer there? Huh?

See my suggestion above. The link has an address.

Why do you ask questions and start threads
if you cannot read the answers?

Please explain HOW did you come to this idea?
What are the posts in this thread
that made you believe that?

Oh ffs! (my 8 year old listens better)

HERE! Now you have 2 choices!
