i beleive the only way you will be able to get a thompson sub gun into canada is if you make it inoperable ever again. For my uncle to get an old antique gun similar her had to fill the barrel with some metal (i forget what metal) so that it could never be fired. So if you want one as an antique for display you may have a shot if you like paperwork, but if you want to use it for shooting in canada you are out of luck
