Arma-coating is relatively easy if you take your time. My gun has seen 500 or so rounds and is getting smoother with every one. The finish on it has not worn one tiny bit.
I had them sandblasted at a performance engine shop only because it was the only place I could find. It is highly recommended you sandblast anything but a parkerised finish before coating. I used the all in one shake and spray kits from arma-coat and they worked very well. I also baked the parts in my oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour when they were done. The finish has proven very durable. I plan to do a shotgun next.
