I got my son an adult XT-22 bolt riffle and bought a youth stock for it (70$ new) once he grows out of it it's back to the regular stock and i'll just sell the youth one or save it for his kids...
you can also do the opposite, get a youth XT-22 and then buy a full size stock, youth is a 16.5 barrel, normal is 22 inch...
