can I shoot slugs???

Hey y'all. Bought the Mossberg 500 Zombie chain saw shotty. It says it has a cylinder bore choke. Am I able to shoot slugs out of this?

I typically use shotgun shells myself. Although on some occasions when i tried slugs they didn't work well. I find garden grubs and snails work much better.

Seriously though i cant believe someone actually bought the chainsaw mossberg.

You can shoot slugs, but it's much less impressive than shooting 2 litre pop bottles half full of water - for slugs, light field loads work fine, just make sure you're a safe distance away

Yep, just make sure to use rifled slugs.

When is slug season, anyway? Is spotlighting them frowned upon, seeing as they don't have eyes? If you were to use a treestand, what magnification is recommended for the scope? How long do you wait, to let him settle, if you've winged him?

Yup, as the others have said, rifled slugs will be fine. Let us know how the ergonomics are with the high recoil of a slug.

nope, most chokes up to modified should be fine for slugs.....I think.......

I find salt works much better on slugs than a shotgun.
